Join us at Highland Brewing for an afternoon of continuing education and conversation in the mountains. This six-hour event includes up to four hours of CE in the brewery’s event space followed by a two-hour rooftop social overlooking Asheville.

Schedule:
2:00 to 6:00 p.m. – CE Program (4 hours total)
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. – Rooftop Social and Networking (open to the veterinary community)

Troy Williams will present the following sessions:

1. Don’t Drink That! A Review of Leptospirosis
A review of Leptospirosis in dogs, covering the causative agent, prevalence, and transmission of the disease. The session explores species and environmental risk factors, clinical signs, diagnostics, treatment, and preventive measures using AAHA guidelines and vaccination recommendations.

2. The Diabetic Cat Challenge
A practical walkthrough of feline diabetes management, including treatment options, clinical challenges, and algorithm development for evaluating and managing diabetic cats using SGLT2-inhibitor therapy.

Two more hours of CE will be added soon. Final details will be announced once confirmed.

 

CE Credit:
Up to 4 hours of approved CE for veterinarians and technicians

Registration Fee:
$10 per person. Includes CE sessions, refreshments, and two drinks at the rooftop social.
