NCVMA Makes an Impact

Membership Makes a Difference.

The NCVMA strives to make an impact, on both our members and the community, with a portion of membership dues budgeted towards animal welfare and scholarship programs.

More than $90,000 is budgeted each year towards grant programs.

Community Programs

Membership dues support the Friends of NCVMA Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, that aims to educate the public and students about veterinary medicine and to support various animal welfare endeavors and disaster relief efforts.

Shelters and animal rescue groups are the focus of the Animal Welfare and High Five grant programs. Animal shelters can apply for funding to help maintain compliance with animal welfare laws. High Five grants help non-profit organizations with special programming.
In addition, a $1,000 donation is made to an animal rescue organization in each of the 11 districts, chosen by the district representatives.
